Free Domain Name
Your copy of Web Designer Premium MX (v9) includes a free domain name for 12 months, in addition to the free MAGIX Online World hosting offer. You should have received a coupon code in your confirmation email for Web Designer Premium.
Here's what you need to do next in order to claim your free domain:
1) Visit the MAGIX Online World domain section.
2) Search for a free domain name among the allowed TLD's (Top Level Domains), simply enter your desired domain name and click 'Check Now' and when you find the one you want, click 'Select Domain'.
3) This takes you straight to the MAGIX Online World shopping cart. If you already have a MAGIX Online World account you should enter your existing MAGIX Online World login details, NOTE this is not the same as your Xara online account details - if you have not used MAGIX Online World before select 'I am a new user'. Enter your voucher code, click Redeem Voucher and the amount owing (£21.87 including registration) will be re-set to £0.00, then follow the registation process through to the end.

to use the domain for your Web Designer website you need a MAGIX Online World hosting package - and of course a free hosting package is included with your Web Designer! If the website is already uploaded via FTP you can assign the domain to the website folder (in most cases the root or the chosen sub-folder). We offer this guidance on assigning domains.
What happens after 12 months?
If you wish to use the domain for another year you will need to subscribe, the current cost for a renewal is £11.88 per year.
Renewal:
Renewal is not automatic, but you will be sent reminder mails in plenty of time, at which point you can chose whether to subscribe or not.
