Set up MAGIX WebDisk as network drive
Select your operating system: Windows XP | Windows Vista | Windows 7 | Mac OS X 10.x
Windows XP
1. Open Windows Explorer and from "Extras" select "Map Network Drive"
2. In the dialog now on screen click on "Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server".
3. Follow the add network place Wizard's steps by clicking "Next".
4. Click on "Choose another network location..." and click on "Next".
5. Enter the MAGIX WebDisk Server's address (https://webdisk.magix-online.com) and click on "Next".
6. In the following dialog enter your MAGIX Online World username and password. Your username is your MAGIX registered email address.
7. Enter the name for the shortcut tour WebDisk Drive (e.g. MAGIX WebDisk) and click on "Next".
8. Confirm with "Finish". Your MAGIX WebDisk is now connected as a network drive and can be accessed just like any hard dive, for example in Windows Explorer.
Windows 7 / Vista
1. Click on the Windows Start symbol and click on "Computer" from the list.
2. In this dialog click on "Map network drive" from the menu bar.
3. Click in the following dialog on the "Create connection with a website..." option (blue text).
4. This opens the Wizard to add a network address, click on "Next".
5. Double click on the option "Select a user-defined network address" (or click and then select "Next").
6. Enter the address of the MAGIX WebDisk. It is: https://webdisk.magix-online.com Then click on "Next".
7. Enter your login details for MAGIX Online World (email address + password). It's probably best to tick the checkbox "Remember login details".
8. Find a suitable name for the shortcut to WebDisk (e.g. MAGIX WebDisk)...
9. In the final dialog just click "Finish"
10. Your MAGIX WebDisk will be displayed as a drive immediately. Now you can save files on it like you would on a regular drive or storage medium.
Mac OS X 10.x
1. In the Finder click on the "Go to" menu option and in the menu click on "Connect with server"
2. In the following dialog enter the MAGIX WebDisk server address (https://webdisk.magix-online.com) and click on "Connect"
3. In the following dialog enter your MAGIX Online World login details (name = email address, password = password). To avoid having to re-enter the password over and over, tick the checkbox "Save to keychain". Then click on "Connect".
4. Your MAGIX WebDisk is now integrated as a network drive on your Mac and can be used like a normal hard drive.
